Is Fantasia Barrino Pregnant With Cheating Boyfriend’s Baby?

Tabloid-prone ‘American Idol’ winner Fantasia Barrino was pictured sporting a baby bump while on vacation with her adulterous boyfriend, Antwuan Cook.

Barrino made dramatic headlines last August, after she pounded a cocktail of sleeping pills and aspirin in an unsuccessful suicide attempt two weeks before her third album, ‘Back to Me,’ was released.

The singer’s camp put out a statement following the incident, saying she was left with emotional baggage after aborting Cook’s baby upon learning he was still married to — and had three kids with — someone else. Barrino was forced to testify at Cook’s child custody hearing later that same year, in November.

However, the couple has apparently let bygones be bygones. They were spotted in Barbados snorkeling on a beach with the singer looking like she had a bun in the oven, according to TheYBF.com.
When pregnancy rumors began swirling earlier this, Barrino’s manager blamed the weight gain on her starring role in the biopic about New Orleans gospel queen Mahalia Jackson.

Barrino performed on the Caribbean isle over the weekend, and while there was also spotted with her 9-year-old daughter, Zion.

Court Finds Fantasia’s Married Lover Was Separated at Time of Tryst.

There are some court proceedings that, like it or not, inject themselves in to popular culture.

In 1995, we had O.J., and in 2010, we have ‘Tasia Mae.

With cheating and abortions and tattoos, the hearing transcript surrounding Fantasia Barrino, Antwaun Cook and his soon-to-be ex-wife Paula, reads like an episode of “Maury.” Frankly, I’ll be glad when this whole thing is over as I know way more about Fantasia’s uterus than I ever imagined.

But moving on … score one for the homewrecker!!!

Fantasia got a little help from the judge currently presiding over her boo’s divorce trial.In a Perry Mason moment, the judge found the pair’s separation date was September 14, 2009 — not June 2010, as Paula had claimed.

Why is that important you ask?

Because there could be major ramifications in Paula Cook’s upcoming Alienation of Affection action against Fantasia.

Paula had claimed that Fantasia knew Antwaun was married and went ahead with their relationship anyway. Maybe so, but North Carolina’s Alienation of Affection law can only be filed for conduct prior to a separation, meaning that after September 14, 2009, Antwaun and Fantasia could do what the hell they wanted.

Pretty sneaky, sis.

More than likely, the ruling will probably put the kebosh on Paula’s bootleg lawsuit. I knew she should have taken that 100K and ran.

As previously reported, ‘American Idol’ winner Fantasia Barrino was hospitalized on Aug. 10 because of an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid.

After the near-fatal incident, the 26-year-old singer admitted during an episode of VH1’s ‘Behind the Music’ that the overdose was intentional.

Throughout the blogosphere, people wondered whether the attempt, as well as her alleged sex tap scandal with Antwaun Cook, was all just a publicity stunt to promote her new album, ‘Back to Me.’ Further speculation will no doubt be raised when the tragedy plays itself out on season two of her VH1 show, ‘Fantasia for Real.’

As previously reported by BV Buzz, ‘American Idol’ winner Fantasia Barrino was hospitalized on Aug. 10, due to an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid. Contrary to various sources questioning whether there was foul play, it’s now being reported that the 26-year-old singer’s overdose was intentional.

In an excerpt from her forthcoming VH1 ‘Behind the Music’ interview, the eight-time Grammy Award nominee revealed that the scrutiny surrounding her pending sex tape scandal had forced her into exile and ultimately toward suicide.

“I didn’t have any fight in me. I didn’t care about anything. I just wanted out,” Barrino admitted during the interview, which premieres Aug. 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. “At that moment, I wanted out. I wanted it to be over with – all of it, all of that [expletive].”

According to the report, Barrino was taken to Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville around 8:55 PM … the report says her condition was not life-threatening.

According to the report, it’s unclear whether the OD was intentional or accidental.

As we previously reported — Barrino was recently accused by Paula Cook of making a sex tape with her husband and destroying their marriage.

Paula Cook filed for divorce from her husband Antwaun Cook. In the court docs obtained by WCNC, Paula Cook filed for child support against her estranged husband Antwaun Cook and cited an alleged affair between Cook and Barrino. She claims the two met at a T-Mobile store and, beginning in August 2009, began their “covert adulterous affair.”

Cook goes on to claim, “Throughout the course of their adulterous affair … Defendant/Husband and Ms. Barrino have at times recorded their illicit activity.”

Fantasia’s lawyer, Gena Morris, is officially on the attack — telling TMZ, “Mrs. Cook gratuitously included claims about Fantasia to sensationalize that litigation and to insure that her tale would be picked up by tabloids.”

Although the “Cook” tattoo branded above Barrino’s heart… that was later covered up — and rumors of an affair between Barrino and Cook have been around for months — Barrino has always denied the relationship.

Morris added, “The fact that she would seek such publicity in a case involving her children is particularly disgraceful.”

Barrino has claimed she is “not responsible” for the deterioration of the marriage.
