Paris Hilton, Boyfriend Attacker Jailed.

James Rainford, the man who attacked Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits on Wednesday, has been sent to jail.

TMZ is reporting that Rainford got sentenced to 227 days in prison after he pleaded ‘no contest’ to misdemeanor battery.

Rainford was already on probation and the judge threw the book at him for violating the terms of his probation. He was arrested last October after trespassing on the socialite’s property and getting into an altercation with her security.

In addition to the jail sentence, Rainford was sentenced to three years informal probation and ordered to stay away from Waits once he’s released.
Hilton and Waits were walking into a Superior Court building in Van Nuys when Rainford attempted to grab Waits in the back of the neck. He was immediately subdued by a bodyguard and handed over to police.

After his arrest, Rainford explained to police that he was in love with Hilton and had her father’s permission to marry her.

Hilton and Waits were at the Van Nuys courthouse to testify in a case against Nathan Parada who broke into their home last year wielding a knife.

Paris Hilton Reveals Her 2010 Christmas Card.

We all know Paris Hilton had quite a bumpy year. And, as depicted in her new holiday photo, she just might be bracing for another one.

The provocative Christmas card has been mailed to friends and associates of the 29-year-old socialite (recently nixed from the Nicole Richie wedding guest list), and the message she sends, according to People.com, is as unsubtle as her slinky silver minidress: “Happy holidays to everyone! Love Paris, xoxo”

Perched on an upholstered throne and dressed to the nines, the jet-setter — who was arrested in August by Las Vegas police on a felony cocaine charge — is surely hoping to put her 2010 woes behind her. But despite her pout, she’s feeling cheerful, reports RadarOnline: “Christmas is my favorite time of year,” she says, adding that she plans to spend the holidays soaking up the sun, first in Hawaii, then Mexico.
Hilton’s latest venture, according to the New York Times, is a motorcycle racing team called SuperMartxĂ© VIP by Paris Hilton (the name refers to a dance party in Ibiza). She recently flew to Madrid for the launch of her sporty new endeavor. The team will compete in the 2011 125cc MotoGP World Championship season, and as part of Hilton’s contract, she will reportedly be in attendance at various races over the next five years.

Next time Paris Hilton goes out to dinner with her boyfriend, she should roll in a bumper car instead of a paparazzi-steamrolling Bentley … just to be extra safe.

Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits were caught on video by Hollywood.TV attempting to drive away from paparazzi photographers after appearing to have rolled over a female photographer’s leg.

Waits was cited with a hit and run and allowed to carry on with his evening, TMZ reports.

After the night was over, Hilton vaguely tweeted about the event.

“Lovely evening with friends and family ruined by aggressive paparazzi! They are literally insane!” she said.

Paris Hilton Arrested in Vegas on Cocaine Charges.

Luck wasn’t on Paris Hilton’s side this weekend in Sin City, when Las Vegas police pulled over the car she was in just before midnight and allegedly found a white powder in her purse that, upon testing, proved to be cocaine. The celebutante was then arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine, and booked into the Clark County detention center, according to ABC News. She was soon released on bail.

The socialite, 29, was in the passenger seat of a car driven by a male thought to be her boyfriend, nightclub owner Cy Waits. Why was Hilton pulled over near the Wynn Hotel and Casino in the first place? Las Vegas police spokesman Marcus Martin told the Associated Press cops thought they smelled marijuana coming from the car: “Officers noticed a vehicle leaving a smoke trail of a controlled substance [and] made a stop based on that.” He added that a crowd gathered to witness the police stop after Hilton was recognized by passers-by.
According to TMZ, Hilton has hired “powerful Vegas lawyer” David Chesnoff (whose past clients include Suge Knight and Vince Neil) to handle her case. And despite the fact that Hilton was the only woman in the vehicle when authorities pulled it over, she is reportedly insisting that the purse wasn’t hers.
